History of X-tremeWire
X-tremeWire is a family business owned and operated by Kevin, Ken &
Tammy Warner of Hastings.
Veteran / Native Owned - I joined the Army straight out of high
school as a field medic. In my 3 years of service I received the
humanitarian service award, national defence ribbon, army
commendation award twice, as well as others. We bring the same
dedication to each of our customers that I learned in service of
this country.
Sold Security Systems- After a very brief stint managing a Truck
Stop and a Dominos Pizza, I started selling home security systems. I
was pretty good at it, but found that the people installing the
systems in my customers homes didn't do a very good job of meeting
my customers expectations, and often did damage to their homes.
Numerous complaints to the corporation yielded little if no response
from management.
I decided I could do better on my own- at the age of 25 I started
out on my own did mostly contracting work for other security
companies. I started with the idea that I may not have the most
knowledge, but I would be on-time and do the best possible work for
the customers at hand. I quickly gained the trust of several local
companies like Honeywell, Minnegasco, InterAct Security, ISSI and a
few others.
In 2002 while hanging off the side of a building from a rope and
a harness X-tremeWire was born - The company was formed with the
idea that we would do the tough jobs that no one else wanted or
wasn't capable of doing. Since then we have been doing just that,
plus we have branched out into just about every area of Technology
Systems. Our customers receive top notch, high end installations, at
a price they can afford.
